Do you want to do something different during your holiday in the Cotswolds? If so, you might want to pay a visit to the Pershore Plum Festival in Worcester.
According to Simon Tipple from VisitWorcester, this could offer you something different to your usual Cotswolds holiday activity.
He explains the festival has been "resurrected" in the last 14 years and now allows you to purchase a huge variety of products made from the famous Pershore Plums.
The event will be going on throughout the whole of August, so you should be able to catch some of the festivities during your stay in a Cotswolds holiday cottage.
An event we here at cottages4you just can’t wait to see is one that has been brought back for the first time in 70 years.
Mr Tipple says the Land O’Plums Hurdle, on August 6th, will be held at the Worcester Race Course.
And he adds there’s so much more to try – "you’ve got children’s fairground rides, crafts, plum festival ale, archery, music, there’s even a parachute jump".
While you’re there, why not take a trip to the famous Malvern Hills, for a more relaxed outing?
