Some things only occur once in a lifetime and on your next Cornwall holiday you could witness one of these events.
A tiny wild reindeer calf has been born in the region, which is the first time this has happened in England in thousands of years.
Trevarno Estate & Gardens near Helston is the site to head to if you want to see young Blue and marvel at his birth.
Reindeer handler Ellie Pearce said: "I arrived in one morning and there he was on the hay looking absolutely beautiful. Since then he’s put on a pound a day and he’s become incredibly friendly and inquisitive."
When he gets a bit older, Blue will be introduced to the rest of the herd and you might like to take a look at him in action.
We suggest spending a whole day at the estate, which boasts beautiful wildlife and magnificent woodland to roam around.
