You might be surprised at the very high quality of some eateries in the surrounding area too – Our favourite is the Navy Inn in Penzance. A very new & promising arrival is the cafe at Scarlett Wines, The Old Forge, Lelant, nr Hayle. For good simple bar food I’d look at Country Skittles near Leedstown.
