Status Quo are to play a gig on one of the Cotswolds” best-known attractions, it has been announced.
The Forestry Commission has revealed the legendary rockers will be appearing at Westonbirt Arboretum on July 17th as part of its Forestry Commission Live Music programme.
Those staying in Cotswolds holiday cottages in early summer might want to consider planning their trip around the gig, with tickets becoming available on January 15th at a price of £33.
Francis Rossi – who was recently awarded an OBE along with bandmate Rick Parfitt – said that Status Quo are "pleased" it will be taking part.
"We like to play the forests each year," he remarked, adding that the band "had a great time performing to a capacity crowd" last time they played at the site.
There will be no shortage of shows taking place at the arboretum in July, as singer-songwriter James Morrison is set to grace the stage the very next day (July 18th).
