Those staying in holiday cottages in Norfolk this month have a chance to play a part in a world record attempt.
The Broads Authority is looking for people to help plant 1,000 trees in an hour at Whitlingham Country Park near Norwich this weekend, as part of an event organised by the BBC.
It is being held to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the UK”s national parks and the 20th anniversary of the formation of the Broad Authority and those wanting to take part will need to be at Whitlingham Visitor Centre at 10:00 GMT to see a coppicing demonstration, with the planting itself running from 11:00 GMT and 12:00 GMT.
"Stout footwear", spades and waterproofs will all be required, the Broads Authority said.
Those who want to take part will have to pay to pre-book their place, but the proceeds will go towards the upkeep of the country park.
The Lake District is also taking part in the world record attempt, with Bassenthwaite Reflections organising volunteers at Winlatter Forest in the national park.
